The Greeley Chorale invites you to join us for an outstanding season of quality choral music. The season begins Saturday, October 13 with “Hangin’ With The Krop”, featuring Greeley’s own Kream of the Krop Swing Orchestra, at the Union Colony Civic Center. In addition to performing on their own, the Chorale and Kream will join forces for several numbers. You’ll not want to miss this!
December, of course, brings the holidays, and we’ll be there to help you celebrate! “Carols, Gloria and Ho Ho Ho!” is Saturday, December 15, at the Union Colony Civic Center. Featured work is John Rutter’s Gloria, a favorite of choirs and audiences around the world. We’ll pair that with some good old-fashioned carols, and holiday favorites from the secular world, too. Come join us for some “mood music”…holiday mood, that is!
Back for the 24th year, Pops & Pasta!, the Chorale’s dinner, show and auction fundraiser, will be Saturday, February 23, 2019 at the Greeley Recreation Center. Enjoy a chef-prepared pasta dinner, complete with linguine with homemade marinara sauce, wonderful Italian sausage, salad, bread and red wine! While you dine, we’ll entertain with solos and ensembles performing music you might not normally see in a Chorale concert! The Chorale will perform a few numbers, too! In between courses, check out our incredible silent auction just across the hall!
The season winds up with “An Evening of Hope and Comfort”, featuring Dan Forrest’s moving Requiem for the Living, a recent work from this talented composer. We pair that with other pieces to soothe the soul, and give you hope for the future!
Tickets for all events are on sale NOW at the Union Colony Civic Center Ticket Office. Go to ucstars.com, or call 356-5000. All concert tickets (not Pops & Pasta!) offer pre-season discounted tickets at just $18 each. Groups of 10 or more from a single purchaser are also just $18.
Please, come join us! We know you’ll enjoy our 54th season as much as we enjoy presenting it to you!
